This is a great hotel if you’re in Trieste, Italy. The location, rooms, and service are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The included breakfast was the best of all the hotels we used throughout our vacation in Italy. We met the owners ( Mauro and Cristina) and they were very courteous and friendly. You also get a very good value staying at this awesome hotel. We strongly recommend this hotel and will use it again if we come back to Trieste.
Excellent hotel in a very good location in Trieste. Our stay for New Years Eve was great, the room was very comfortable, always very clean and the service was really good too. We got great recommendations for local restaurants by the concierge - I would definitely recommend and come back!
Everyone is very nice and helpful, excellent breakfast. Well maintained throughout. We walked from train station closer to 2km. The cruise ship terminal is walkable but don't recommend it. A castle with view of the city and harbor is less than 1km away.
Great small hotel in good location, close to the center. Paraking garage available just across. Breakfast is ok, but try across A mano shop, local delicacy, it is great and with reasonable prices.
Small detail that bothers me - there is illy coffe machine in the room, but you get only 2 capsules. They dont change them daily, you have to pay for them. In Illy coffe town...
Also, we have reserved room suite but we dont get same room as in the picture.
It was very pleasent stay, I recommend it.
This is supposed to be a good quality hotel, but unfortunately too many issues which have let it down for our stay. Firstly, the wellness spa is closed. Second the air-con was not working properly in 2 rooms out of the 3 for our group. When we reported it, the rooms were about 25deg (not unbearable but pretty warm for a hotel room). We got the answer that an engineer would look at it the next day, this did happen but it didn't make any difference. Fans were provided, but we were told that we couldn't expect them to get any cooler due to the hot weather outside (that's what the AC is for!). It is also quite hot in the breakfast area IMO.
Thirdly, and not as big a deal, the breakfast really wasn't great for the type of hotel. It had the basics, but some more local options would be better, e.g. local jam, honey, butter, and nicer juices etc.
It's a good location and the service is very good. Beware of the 18E per day parking charge, but I think that is probably normal in Trieste.
Location is very good and they were very kind to park my motorbike in their private garage. The issue we had is with the wifi which is dreadful. You definitely cannot work using their network. Also the whole roof area with wellness center was closed. Our room was really large and very cool which is welcome in this heatwave.
Rooms are very clean and well kept. The only drawback of the hotel was the breakfast as it was very limiting. For the rest it was a very nice stay.
Good location. Wonderful, helpful staff. The apartment was great and would work well for a small family. There was even a washing machine in the bathroom. Like ALL of Trieste, parking is a challenge.
